Is the maternity centre opened during public holidays?

Yes, the maternity centre is opened 24 hours day and opened for admission during all public holidays.

What are the documents or items to bring for admission into the ward?

The documents or items to bring during admissions into the ward are:

◊ Personal Identification Card/ Passport

◊ Antenatal booklet

◊ A set of your personal clothing to be used during discharge from ward

◊ To bring items for the new born

◊ Marriage certificate (if any)

◊ Deposit/advance payment

Do I have to do early booking if I want to deliver my baby in PUSAT PAKAR PERMATA RAOOFAH?

No needs for booking as the rooms are adequately available.

You may come immediately for admission into the ward when there is a sign to deliver the baby. The maternity centre is OPENED 24 hours a day.

(It is advisable for you to carry out consultation and check-up at least once with our gynaecologist, Dr. Raoofah to ascertain the condition of the mother and the baby in the womb)

Now I am doing my pregnancy check-up at a nearby government clinic, can I deliver my baby at your medical centre?

Yes, you can. Please bring along the following documents/items for admission into the ward:

◊ Antenatal booklet

◊ A set of your personal clothing to be used during discharge from ward

◊ To bring items for the new born

◊ Marriage certificate (if any)

My new-born baby is showing symptoms of jaundice. Can I bring my baby to your medical centre for treatment?

Yes, you can. Our medical centre is equipped with phototherapy equipment for jaundice treatment.

Is the clinic opened during public holidays?

Yes, the outpatient clinic is opened during selected public holidays. You may get an update on clinic opening hours from our Facebook page

What are the clinic opening hours?

The clinic hours are as shown below. Nevertheless, the patient is advised to contact our clinic for an update in the opening hours before going to the clinic.

Do you have vaccination service for infant as per government vaccination schedule?

Yes

Do you have vaccination service for adults, including for people traveling to perform religious obligations i.e. umrah, hajj?

Yes

For antenatal check-up, do I have to call for appointments?

No need for appointments. You may come to clinic during clinic operation hours. Patients will be given a queue number upon registration.

Does you clinic have circumcision service for baby girl? How about the charges?

Yes, we do have. Kindly call our clinic for appointment/confirmation. The charges for baby girl circumcision service is not more than RM90 (May 2019)

Can I but the medicine without seeing or consulting the doctor?

No. Any medicine disbursed to the patient must come with our doctor’s prescription.

I want to do ultrasound scan, do I have to make an appointment?

No. No need for appointment. You may walk-in to our clinic.

Does you clinic have circumcision service for baby boy/boy? What are the charges?

Yes, we do. Kindly call our clinic at 05-5261997 for appointment. The charges for baby boy/boy circumcision service is RM190 (May 2019)

Do you have consultation for family planning service?

Yes, we do

On what day can I do Pap Smear test? and how much?

The charges for Pap Smear test are:

Normal Pap Smear: RM50

Thin Prep: RM90

Pap Smear can be done from Monday to Saturday.

Do you have pneumococcal vaccination?

Yes, we have. There are 2 types of pneumococcal vaccination: Synflorix and Prevenar. For the charges and the required dosage, you may call our clinic at 05-5261997.

I delivered my baby somewhere else (not at your medical centre), but if the wound is open, can I come for check-up?

Yes, you can come to our clinic. No need for appointment.

Can I scan for cyst/fibroid?

Yes, you can.

My new-born baby is showing jaundice symptom. Can I bring my baby for jaundice check-up?

Yes, you can. We also provide phototherapy service for a reasonable charge.
